Mooh mein khana accha lagta hai, gaaliya nahi

Swiggy boldly campaigned against abusive behaviour towards delivery associates, prioritising employee well-being. We refined the script to include the tagline, “Mooh mein khana accha lagta hai, gaaliya nahi” (Food suits the mouth, not swear words).

The ad featured humorous yet impactful moments that highlighted abusive language in everyday situations, such as a queue-cutting incident, a hockey match and a police interrogation. These scenarios were tied together with a catchy background score, culminating in the song “Aaj na dene denge gaali,” (we won’t let you speak expletives today) which became the campaign’s core message. Sonali Bhatia’s graphics added a modern touch, enhancing the ad’s appeal.

Ultimately, the collaboration produced a humorous campaign urging customers to avoid expletives when reporting mistakes—because to err is human. We won a blue elephant and 3 small elephants for the campaign at the Kyoorious awards that year.
