Sahara India Life Insurance, the first fully Indian insurance company, collaborated with an agency to create a unique spot written by Pushi’s friend. Departing from conventional advertisement styles, the ad took a more grounded and realistic approach, despite parodying the iconic character of Gabbar Singh. To capture this authenticity, the crew travelled to Lucknow and shot in a real Arts College office, featuring actual people in the background.

The casting for the lead character was crucial, as the actor had to portray both an ordinary office worker and humorously challenge Gabbar Singh, calling out, “Gabbar bahar nikal.” Unlike typical product-centric ads, the insurance product is only revealed at the end with the tagline, “Atma Vishwas ki Nai Takat,” symbolising how the life insurance plan gives him the confidence to face even Gabbar Singh. This humorous spot became immensely popular and remains a favourite.
